ARTHUR poster debut – Russell Brand and Helen Mirren… the new Dudley Moore and John Gielgud?

Yes… slow news day.  Just a few days ago we posted the trailer for the ARTHUR remake starring Russell Brand, Helen Mirren, Luis Guzman and Jennifer Garner.  Today we have the poster.  Now I gotta say, in all honestly, I’m in the camp of thinking this is a totally unnecessary remake and probably never in a million years going to work… but I guess we could say that about most remakes these days.  I do love Helen Mirren, and enjoy Jennifer Garner, but can’t say I like Russell Brand.  In fact most of the people I know don’t like Russell Brand.  Why is he popular again?  Katy Perry?  Oh well, this new ARTHUR opens April 8, 2011.  Do you think if they opened this on April 1 no one would have believed it was real?  Just curious.  Thoughts in the comments if you will!
