Trailer and poster for Darren Lynn Bousman’s horror thriller 11-11-11

Darren Lynn Bousman (the director of SAW II, III, and IV, as well as REPO! THE GENETIC OPERA) has a new horror film coming out called 11-11-11.  And in what we hope won’t prove to be a solo weekend of interest, he’s opening it November 11, 2011. A horror-thriller set on 11:11 on the 11th day of the 11th month and concerning a entity from another world that enters the earthly realm through Heaven’s 11th gate.  The cast includes Michael Landes, Todd Bridges (awesome!), Wendy Glenn, and Timothy Gibbs.  This film will undoubtedly draw comparisons to the Jim Carrey thriller THE NUMBER 23… which wasn’t that great.  But I think there’s some interesting ideas going on here, and Bousman is a director that always intrigues me.  I’m actually more interested in his MOTHER’S DAY project, but I’m definitely willing to give this one a look.  Check out the poster above and the trailer below, and tell us your thoughts in the comments.
