Very happy to post this one.  My buddy Temuera Morrison, known well to STAR WARS fans as “Jango Fett”, is headlining a new movie with the great Ray Winstone titled TRACKER.  Set in 1903, this period piece plays out against the backdrop of New Zealand, under the eye of director Ian Sharp.  What I really like about this is the old fashioned style chase thriller aspect, focusing on one man chasing another, almost like a play on THE FUGITIVE.  Couple that with the casting of two fantastic actors (if you’ve never seen Temura Morrison in ONCE WERE WARRIORS, you’re denying yourself great cinema), and you’ve got a film that’s definitely on my radar.  No word yet on release dates for TRACKER, but we’ll keep you posted.  Check out the trailer below.

Synopsis:
An ex-Boer war guerrilla in New Zealand is sent out to bring back a Maori accused of killing a British soldier. Gradually they grow to know and respect one another but a posse, led by the British Commanding officer is close behind and his sole intention is to see the Maori hang.
