Stan Lee video interview: upcoming new comic titles, TV show appearances!

Another rather exciting interview my cameraman buddy Blake Garris and I got to do at this year’s DragonCon was the one and only Stan “The Man” Lee.  If you’re not familiar with Stan, shame on you, turn in your geek card.  Lee was instrumental in the early days of Marvel Comics, and helped create some of today’s most popular characters in the comic industry, including SPIDER-MAN and THE FANTASTIC FOUR… to name a few.  Stan served as the company’s head honcho for many, many years – you may have noticed how all those Marvel comic books opened with the words “Stan Lee Presents” on the title pages.  These days Lee is heading up his own entertainment production company called POW! Entertainment, which develops and produces various television and movie projects.  Currently Stan is working with BOOM! Studios, where he’s presenting multiple new titles.  Gotta say, we’re pretty excited to hear that.  In this exclusive video interview, Stan gives those characters a plug or two, and even drops some information about two TV show appearances he has coming up… both of them really cool shows.  I always love talking to the guy, as he’s always smiling and making you feel good in his presence.  Back in the mid 1990’s I took Stan to his very first Hooters in Mesquite, Texas.  Is was a magical moment, for a variety of reasons, but that’s another story for another time.  Check out the interview below, and let us know your thoughts in the comments.  ‘Nuff said!

FYI – The third project after SOLDIER ZERO and THE TRAVELER is STARBORN, written by Texas boy Chris Roberson!

The following video can be found on the BOOM! Studios website, and it explains a little better what to expect from the upcoming titles.
