New TANGLED trailer shows a lot more of what we can expect from Disney’s take on “Rapunzel”

I’m still a little miffed that Walt Disney Pictures decided to change the title of RAPUNZEL to TANGLED, as using a title like RAPUNZEL would have fit a lot better with their library of recognizable names.  I mean, it’s not like they changed POCAHONTAS to TEE PEE, or called THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME something like HUMPDAY… thank God.  But seeing this new trailer, and really getting a feel for the comedic and adventurous aspects of this new film, I guess TANGLED isn’t that bad of a name. The voice cast includes Mandy Moore as the legendary Rapunzel, Zachary Levi (CHUCK) as the lovable thief Flynn, along with Ron Perlman, Donna Murphy, M.C. Gainey (LOST), Jeffrey Tambor, Paul F. Tompkins, and Brad Garrett.  Check out the new trailer, which shows a lot more action than what we’ve seen so far.  I’m really digging the mixture of CG with cel animation styling.  This is the progression animated movies need.  Let’s hope it all comes together.  Let us hear your thoughts in the comments.

TANGLED opens November 24, 2010
