San Diego Comic-Con 2010 – MACHETE press conference video: Robert Rodriguez, Michelle Rodriguez, Danny Trejo

I’m still frantically trying to process video from this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, and believe me we’ve got PLENTY to show you.  But to help kick things off, here’s two clips from the exclusive MACHETE press conference featuring director Robert Rodriguez, and stars Danny Trejo and Michelle Rodriguez.  I love that Danny showed up in full costume from the film.  They also did something rather cool for the fans.  At the party there was a taco truck, and one of the three was in there at all times serving free tacos to everyone in line.  Very cool of them to do!  In the clips below you’ll hear Rodriguez address putting MACHETE together, his potential involvement on a DEADPOOL movie, and upcoming work.  You’ll also hear Michelle Rodriguez speak candidly about showing her body in the film, and the importance of cultural diversity in movies.  Big thanks to the exceedingly lovely Erin Pargas at 20th Century Fox for making this possible, and to the talent as well for taking time to talk to us.

MACHETE opens September 3, 2010
