For a film centered around a villain from the Batman universe, and one that doesn’t feature Batman in it, JOKER was a surprise hit for director Todd Phillips and actor Joaquin Phoenix, who are both returning for the sequel JOKER: FOLIE A DEUX. And this time they’re joined by none other than Lady Gaga, plus this sequel is a musical… wild. The rest of the cast includes Zazie Beetz (returning from the first movie), Steve Coogan, Brendan Gleeson, and Catherine Keener.
