Ever since BEVERLY HILLS COP III hit theaters in 1994, and… well, underperformed, there’s been talk about Eddie Murphy returning to his most famous role playing Axel Foley, the wisecracking Detroit police detective who always finds himself out of his element. The fourth installment is finally almost here, and it’s hitting Netflix next summer. Murphy is back, joined by Kevin Bacon, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and original series stars Paul Reiser, Bronson Pinchot, Judge Reinhold, and John Ashton. Detective Axel Foley (Eddie Murphy) is back on the beat in Beverly Hills. After his daughter’s life is threatened, she (Taylour Paige) and Foley team up with a new partner (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) and old pals Billy Rosewood (Judge Reinhold) and John Taggart (John Ashton) to turn up the heat and uncover a conspiracy.
