KRAVEN THE HUNTER trailer – Aaron Taylor-Johnson brings a Spider-Man villain to life… without Spidey

It still seems weird to me, the idea of taking popular Spider-Man comic villains and giving them their own movies, only not including Spidey in those movies. That said, Sony Pictures has seen great success with the VENOM films, and even MORBIUS made decent money. So now the newest Marvel villain to get the big screen treatment in KRAVEN THE HUNTER, and it seems Sony is following in the DEADPOOL footsteps and making this one a hard R-rated film. Aaron Taylor-Johnson (who has already played two Marvel superheroes in KICK-ASS and as Quicksilver in AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON) plays Sergei Kravinoff, who becomes Kraven the Hunter. The cast also includes Russell Crowe, Allesandro Nivola, Oscar winner Ariana DeBose (WEST SIDE STORY), Christopher Abbott, Fred Hechinger, and Levi Miller, with J.C. Chandor directing.
