INSIDIOUS proved to be bonafide hit with horror movie fans, spawning multiple sequels and spinoffs. The latest entry for the franchise is INSIDIOUS: THE RED DOOR, which brings back the original film’s stars Patrick Wilson, Rose Byrne, Ty Simpkins (all growns up!) and Lin Shaye. The new movie acknowledges the passage of time since the first outing, but it looks like time hasn’t healed al wounds. Wilson also directs this time around. In Insidious: The Red Door, the horror franchise’s original cast returns for the final chapter of the Lambert family’s terrifying saga. Produced by Jason Blum, Oren Peli, James Wan and Leigh Whannell. The screenplay is written by Scott Teems from a story by Leigh Whannell, based on characters created by Leigh Whannell.
Born and raised in Dallas, Mark has been a movie critic since 1994, with reviews featured in print, radio and National TV. From 2002 until 2015 he managed the Dallas Comic Con, Sci-Fi Expo and Fan Days events in the DFW area. He currently catalogs rare comic books and movie memorabilia for Heritage Auctions, and runs the Dallas Comic Show conventions, but remains an avid moviegoer and cinema buff.
