BEAU IS AFRAID trailer – Joaquin Phoenix headlines HEREDITARY director Ari Aster’s latest mind trip

A24 has been releasing consistently interesting films these past few years, movies that really get people talking, even if they’re not quite mainstream fare. One of their latest offerings is from director Ari Aster (HEREDITARY and MIDSOMMAR) and stars Academy Award winner Joaquin Phoenix, titled BEAU IS AFRAID. I wish I could explain what this is about, but judging by the trailer below, they don’t want to spell it out for us. Regardless, I’m on board, as everything about this looks crazy cool. Outside of Joaquin Phoenix, the stellar cast also includes Nathan Lane, Amy Ryan, Stephen McKinley Henderson, Zoe Lister-Jones, Armen Nahapetian, with Parker Posey and Patti LuPone. Take a look at the trailer and tell us your thoughts in the comments.
