Marvel Studios’ SECRET INVASION trailer – Samuel L. Jackson is back in action as Nick Fury

Have you missed Samuel L. Jackson playing Nick Fury in the Marvel Universe? Not to worry, SECRET INVASION is on the way to Disney+ for 2023, based on the Marvel Comics series in which the alien race of Skrulls are infiltrating Earth using their shape-shifting ways, and now it’s up to Nick Fury to thwart their plans. This new series is being helmed by Kyle Bradstreet of MR. ROBOT fame, and reunites Jackson with CAPTAIN MARVEL‘s Ben Mendelsohn as Talos, plus Cobie Smulders is back as Agent Maria Hill, Martin Freeman returns as Everett K. Ross, and Don Cheadle as Colonel James Rhodes / War Machine. New faces will include Dermot Mulroney playing the President of the United States, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Olivia Colman, Emilia Clarke, Killian Scott, Christopher McDonald, and Carmen Ejogo. I love the look and tone of this, feeling very similar to CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER, just a solid political thriller vibe. Check out the trailer freshly released from Disney’s D23 Expo, and tell us your thoughts in the comments.
