SDCC 2022 – DC’s BLACK ADAM starring Dwayne Johnson & Pierce Brosnan gets a new trailer

One of the exciting upcoming Warner Bros. releases is BLACK ADAM, a lightning-based character closely connected to SHAZAM!, only not at all the same kind of hero. Dwayne Johnson is not only connected to star in the film, he’s also been a big champion of the project and loves the source material enough to give it a big personal push. Last fall we got a sneak peek at what to expect from BLACK ADAM in a concept reel, and people got even more excited when it was revealed that none other than Pierce Brosnan had joined the cast as the classic Justice Society of America superhero, Dr. Fate. Then we learned Aldis Hodge is playing Hawkman! We’ve already seen a full trailer for the film, but now, thanks to San Diego Comic-Con 2022, we’ve got another new trailer to check out, which shows a bit more of the action we can expect from the movie. In addition to those already mentioned, Noah Centineo is Atom Smasher, Quintessa Swindell is Cyclone, and Sarah Shahi and Marwan Kenzari also star in the cast. The film is directed by Jaume Collet-Serra, which began production in April of last year. Are you excited to see the next wave of DC superheroes on the big screen? Tell us your thoughts in the comments.

BLACK ADAM is now set to open on October 21, 2022
