We previously showed you the DC Fandome first look at SHAZAM! FURY OF THE GODS, and at that time the sequel wasn’t expected to open until 2023. Well now you won’t have to wait that long, as the new release date is December of 2022, and now we have a new official trailer courtesy of San Diego Comic-Con 2022. Sandberg is also returning, as is Asher Angel as Billy Batson, Jack Dylan Grazer as Freddy Freeman, plus Adam Brody, Faithe Herman, Meagan Good, Grace Fulton, Ian Chen, Ross Butler, Jovan Armand, D.J. Cotrona, Marta Milans, and Rachel Zegler. David F. Sandberg returns to direct as well. Check out the fun new trailer below and tell us your thoughts in the comments.
