We previously showed you the DC Fandome first look at SHAZAM! FURY OF THE GODS, and at that time the sequel wasn’t expected to open until 2023. Well now you won’t have to wait that long, as the new release date is December of 2022, and now we have a new official trailer courtesy of San Diego Comic-Con 2022. Zachary Levi is back, but the big selling point here is the addition of Helen Mirren and Lucy Liu as villains Hespera and Kalypso. Director David F. Sandberg is also returning, as is Asher Angel as Billy Batson, Jack Dylan Grazer as Freddy Freeman, plus Adam Brody, Faithe Herman, Meagan Good, Grace Fulton, Ian Chen, Ross Butler, Jovan Armand, D.J.
