DUNGEONS & DRAGONS: HONOR AMONG THIEVES trailer – Chris Pine makes fantasy battle plans

With San Diego Comic-Con going on this week (and weekend), you’re going to be seeing a lot of trailers and news announcements hitting over the next few days. One of the big talked-about films getting pushed this week is DUNGEONS & DRAGONS: HONOR AMONG THIEVES, which is of course based on the popular role-playing game Dungeons & Dragons. This is also not the first time a movie adaptation was attempted for the game, but the previous effort in 2000 was… well… awful. This new take is co-directed by John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein, from a screenplay by Daley, and stars Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriguez, Justice Smith, Regé-Jean Page, Sophia Lillis, Chloe Coleman, and Hugh Grant. Take a look at the first trailer below and tell us your thoughts in the comments.

A charming thief and a band of unlikely adventurers undertake an epic heist to retrieve a lost relic, but things go dangerously awry when they run afoul of the wrong people. Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves brings the rich world and playful spirit of the legendary roleplaying game to the big screen in a hilarious and action-packed adventure.
