Disney has had pretty good luck with live action adaptations of their classic animated films. The next one up is PINOCCHIO, from director Robert Zemeckis, which re-teams him with THE POLAR EXPRESS and CASTAWAY star and frequent collaborator Tom Hanks as Geppetto, a man who carves a boy out of wood and wishes him to life. Benjamin Evan Ainsworth voices Pinocchio, with Joseph Gordon-Levitt as the voice of Jiminy Cricket, Cynthia Erivo as The Blue Fairy, Keegan Michael Key as Honest John the fox, Luke Evans as The Coachman, and Lorraine Bracco as Sofia the Seagull.
