OBI-WAN KENOBI trailer – Ewan McGregor reprises his STAR WARS role for Disney+

If THE MANDALORIAN and THE BOOK OF BOBA FETT didn’t give you enough a STAR WARS fix, strap in for the next big Disney+ series, the highly-anticipated OBI-WAN KENOBI series, which brings back the prequel star Ewan McGregor as the title character. We now have our first look at the show by way of an official teaser trailer below. Expect to see prequel stars Joel Edgerton (playing Uncle Owen), Bonnie Piesse (playing Aunt Beru), and Jimmy Smits (as Bail Organa) returning as well, and they previously announced Hayden Christensen would also return as Darth Vader. One of the villains of the series seen here is The Grand Inquisitor, played by Rupert Friend, a character previously seen in the animated STAR WARS REBELS series. Moses Ingram okays a new character, Reva, another Inquisitor who doesn’t look particularly happy. We also see Young Luke Skywalker, which may or may not play a big role in the series. But perhaps one of the coolest aspects of this trailer is the return of the “Duel of the Fates” music by John Williams, and they’re not just borrowing an old theme, Williams is actually composing music for the series, his tenth time working on something for STAR WARS. Take a look at the trailer below and tell us your thoughts in the comments.

The story begins 10 years after the dramatic events of “Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith” where Kenobi faced his greatest defeat, the downfall and corruption of his best friend and Jedi apprentice, Anakin Skywalker turned evil Sith Lord Darth Vader.

OBI-WAN KENOBI hits Disney+ on May 25, 2022
