You have to appreciate that in the new action thriller FORTRESS, Bruce Willis stars as a man who has a safe room just in case he’s attacked, but chooses not to use it because he’s having too much fun killing the bad guys. Jesse Metcalfe stars as the son of Bruce here, and Chad Michael Murray plays the vengeful baddie coming after him. It’s low budget action fare, but looks like it might be fun. The cast also includes Kelly Greyson, Ser’Darius Blain, Shannen Doherty and Simon Phillips. FORTRESS is directed by James Cullen Bressack, and written by Alan Horsnail. In this dazzling action cyber-thriller, Bruce Willis (Pulp Fiction) plays Robert, a retired CIA agent living at a secret resort in the woods. One day, his estranged son drives to the camp for a visit — but he’s followed by Robert’s old nemesis, Balzary (Chad Michael Murray, “One Tree Hill”). As the site is besieged by Balzary’s attack squad, father and son retreat to a high-tech bunker. But are its steel walls and advanced weapons powerful enough to match Balzary’s bloodthirsty plans for revenge?
FORTRESS is available in Select Theaters, on Digital and On Demand December 17, 2021 – Available on Blu-ray and DVD on December 21st!
