SHAZAM! FURY OF THE GODS behind-the-scenes teaser trailer shows villains Helen Mirren & Lucy Liu

We’re still about two years away from the SHAZAM! sequel hitting theaters, but thanks to DC Fandome over the weekend, we now have our first look at what to expect from SHAZAM! FURY OF THE GODS. Zachary Levi is back, but the big selling point here is the addition of Helen Mirren and Lucy Liu as villains Hespera and Kalypso. Director David F. Sandberg is also returning, as is Asher Angel as Billy Batson, Jack Dylan Grazer as Freddy Freeman, plus Adam Brody, Faithe Herman, Meagan Good, Grace Fulton, Ian Chen, Ross Butler, Jovan Armand, D.J. Cotrona, Marta Milans, and Rachel Zegler. Check out the special teaser trailer that shows some behind-the-scenes footage below.

Zachary Levi gives fan their first official look at the Shazam! sequel, which is scheduled to open in theaters on June 2, 2023. In addition to Levi, who reprises the title role, the DCEU sequel also stars Asher Angel, Jack Dylan Grazer, Djimon Hounsou, Rachel Zegler, Helen Mirren, and Lucy Liu. David F. Sandberg returns to direct.
