Trailer for Joel Coen’s THE TRAGEDY OF MACBETH starring Denzel Washington & Frances McDormand

Okay, yes, please… all of this. While Joel Coen (one half of the famous Coen Brothers) has more than proven himself a force to be reckoned with behind the camera, I can honestly say I’m partocularly excited for his newest project. An adaptation of William Shakespeare’s Macbeth titled THE TRAGEDY OF MACBETH, which is written and directed by the Academy Award winner, and stars Denzel Washington and Frances McDormand. Honestly, you could stop there, I didn’t even need to see a trailer, I would have already been sold. But then I saw the teaser trailer, and Holy Lord does this look amazing. In addition to Washington and McDormand, the cast also includes Bertie Carvel, Alex Hassell, Corey Hawkins, Harry Melling, Brendan Gleeson, Moses Ingram, and Kathryn Hunter. Check out the teaser trailer below and see if you aren’t intrigued.

Denzel Washington and Frances McDormand star in Joel Coen’s bold and fierce adaptation; a tale of murder, madness, ambition, and wrathful cunning.
