NIGHTMARE ALLEY trailer – Guillermo del Toro directs Bradley Cooper in star-studded noir

The new Guillermo del Toro film NIGHTMARE ALLEY is actually a remake of the classic Tyrone Power movie from 1947, which is interesting noir worth a look, though oddly enough was not a successful production at its time of release. That said, it was a definite daring role for Power, who at the time was none for playing good guys, and the character he plays in that film is anything but that. In del Toro’s movie, Bradley Cooper takes the lead, with an amazing supporting cast that includes Cate Blanchett, Rooney Mara, Willem Dafoe, Ron Perlman, Toni Collette, David Straithairn, Richard Jenkins, Holt McCallany, Clifton Collins Jr., Tim Blake Nelson, and Jim Beaver. Check out the trailer below and tell us your thoughts in the comments.

In NIGHTMARE ALLEY, an ambitious carny (Bradley Cooper) with a talent for manipulating people with a few well-chosen words hooks up with a female psychiatrist (Cate Blanchett) who is even more dangerous than he is.

NIGHTMARE ALLEY hits theaters on December 3, 2021
