THE HITMAN’S WIFE’S BODYGUARD new “lullaby” trailer – Salma Hayek protects Ryan Reynolds from Sam Jackson

THE HITMAN’S BODYGUARD became a surprise comedy hit in 2017, pairing Ryan Reynolds and Samuel L. Jackson together as two guys who hate each other, but are forced to work together and use their lethal skills to survive a barrage of killers trying to take them out. One of the elements introduced in that film was a wife for Jackson’s character, who was seemingly also a killing machine. How she’s back to move front and center in the sequel, THE HITMAN’S WIFE’S BODYGUARD, which brings back all three stars, and adds in Antonio Banderas and Morgan Freeman. This is directed by Patrick Hughes, who helmed the first film as well, and the supporting cast includes Frank Grillo, Caroline Goodall, Rebecca Front, Gabriella Wright, Alice McMillan, Kristofer Kamiyasu, Tom Hopper, Blake Ritson, and the great Richard E. Grant. Check out the newest “lullaby” trailer below and tell us your thoughts in the comments.

The world’s most lethal odd couple – bodyguard Michael Bryce (Ryan Reynolds) and hitman Darius Kincaid (Samuel L. Jackson) – are back on another life-threatening mission. Still unlicensed and under scrutiny, Bryce is forced into action by Darius’s even more volatile wife, the infamous international con artist Sonia Kincaid (Salma Hayek). As Bryce is driven over the edge by his two most dangerous protectees, the trio gets in over their heads in a global plot and soon finds that they are all that stands between Europe and a vengeful and powerful madman (Antonio Banderas).
