THUNDER FORCE trailer – Netflix makes superheroes out of Melissa McCarthy & Octavia Spencer

Not unlike the seemingly endless Adam Sandler movies Netflix keeps churning out, it appears they’re following a similar formula with Melissa McCarthy and director husband Ben Falcone. They already delivered SUPERINTELLIGENCE, and now they’re ramping up for the release of THUNDER FORCE. This newest film takes a tongue-in-cheek look at superhero movies, with McCarthy and Octavia Spencer playing a pair of unlikely superpowered heroes who must save the day with (hopefully) hilarious results. And there are supervillains too, including some familiar faces. Look for a supporting cast that includes Jason Bateman, Bobby Cannavale, Pom Klementieff, and Melissa Leo. And yes, Ben Falcone is writing and directing here as well. Take a look at the trailer below and tell us your thoughts in the comments.

THUNDER FORCE hits Netflix on April 9, 2021
