Zack Snyder’s ARMY OF THE DEAD trailer – place yer bets on the undead taking over Las Vegas

Director Zack Snyder literally started his theatrical career stepping behind the camera for a zombie film, shooting 2004’s shockingly strong remake of the George Romero horror classic, DAWN OF THE DEAD. As we count down the final days before his version of JUSTICE LEAGUE aka “The Snyder Cut” premieres on HBO Max, we’re now getting a look at another film he’s finished… the new zombie action flick ARMY OF THE DEAD. The story here follows a team of mercenaries trying to pull off a heist inside a casino, during a zombie apocalypse. I have so many questions. If zombies have taken over the planet, what good is money now? Is money even their target? The impressive cast includes Dave Bautista, Ella Purnell, Ana de la Reguera, Garret Dillahunt, Raúl Castillo, Omari Hardwick, Hiroyuki Sanada, Tig Notaro, and Matthias Schweighöfer. Unlike Snyder’s previous efforts, ARMY OF THE DEAD will not be released by Warner Brothers but rather Netflix, who premiere it in May. Take a look at the first trailer and tell us your thoughts in the comments below.

ARMY OF THE DEAD premiere on Netflix starting May 21, 2021
