I always think of Pierce Brosnan’s final James Bond outing DIE ANOTHER DAY when I see Rosamund Pike, as that’s the first time I recall seeing her in films… but she’s had several more impressive roles since then, particularly her Oscar-nominated role in GONE GIRL. Her newest film is I CARE A LOT, which finds her in the lead playing a con artist who chooses the wrong victim, played by Dianne Wiest. The cast also includes Peter Dinklage, Eiza González and Chris Messina, and the movie is written and directed by J Blakeson (THE DISAPPEARANCE OF ALICE CREED). From 2002 until 2015 he managed the Dallas Comic Con, Sci-Fi Expo and Fan Days events in the DFW area. He currently catalogs rare comic books and movie memorabilia for Heritage Auctions, and runs the Dallas Comic Show conventions, but remains an avid moviegoer and cinema buff.
