Marvel Studios’ WANDAVISION trailer – Paul Bettany and Elizabeth Olsen come to Disney+

The new Disney+ series WANDAVISION brings Marvel Studios stars Paul Bettany (as Vision) and Elizabeth Olsen (as Wanda Maximoff / Scarlet Witch) to the small screen, but in a big way. This looks so weird and quirky, I’m betting it becomes an instant hit, kind of a mix of THE X-FILES with classic American sitcom tropes. You’ll also notice Kathryn Hahn in an unconfirmed role, maybe Agatha Harkness? And look for Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau, who in the comics becomes Captain Marvel, long before Brie Larson did. Will they follow that storyline here? I guess we’ll find out. With major box office releases on hold, I’m actually quite excited to see these big screen Marvel characters in a different format, and this looks really interesting. Check out the trailer and tell us your thoughts in the comments.

Marvel Studios’ “WandaVision” blends the style of classic sitcoms with the Marvel Cinematic Universe in which Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany)—two super-powered beings living their ideal suburban lives—begin to suspect that everything is not as it seems. The new series is directed by Matt Shakman; Jac Schaeffer is head writer. Debuts on Disney+ this year.

WANDAVISION hits Disney+ sometime later this year
