THE OWNERS trailer – Maisie Williams gets involved in a home invasion gone bad

GAME OF THRONES star Maisie Williams has two movies hitting this year, the long-delayed THE NEW MUTANTS, and THE OWNERS. The latter features Williams as part of a youthful group of robbers who pick the wrong house. Things start off bad when the homeowners return early, causing the thieves to turn the robbery into a home invasion… but all is not as it seems, and soon the owners turn the tables on the intruders. Directed by Julius Berg, the cast also features the great Sylvester McCoy, Jake Curran, Ian Kenny, Andrew Ellis, and Rita Tushingham. Check out the trailer below and tell us your thoughts in the comments.

The Owners follows a group of friends in the 1990s who think they found the perfect easy score: an empty house with a safe full of cash. But when the elderly couple that lives there comes home early, the tables are suddenly turned. As a deadly game of cat and mouse ensues, the would-be thieves are left to fight to save themselves from a nightmare they could never have imagined.

THE OWNERS is scheduled to open in theaters and on digital starting September 4, 2020
