IRRESISTIBLE trailer – Steve Carell & Rose Byrne star in this Jon Stewart-directed comedy

After many years of delivering political news for Comedy Central’s The Daily Show, Jon Stewart has spent recent years going behind the camera, first with the dramatic ROSEWATER in 2014, and now with the political comedy IRRESISTIBLE, which was intended to hit theaters until the Covid-19 pandemic shut down theatrical openings. Now it’s going straight to VOD On Demand in a little over a week. Steve Carell stars as a political consultant on the Democrat side who wants to help an average Wisconsin guy (played by Chris Cooper) run for mayor. But on the Republican side is another consultant played by Rose Byrne, who wants to bring down Carell’s character. The cast also includes Mackenzie Davis (TERMINATOR: DARK FATE) and Topher Grace. Check out the final trailer below and tell us your thoughts in the comments.
