THE OLD GUARD trailer – Charlize Theron brings Greg Rucka’s comic book to life for Netflix

The new Netflix series THE OLD GUARD is actually based on the comic book series of the same name by Greg Rucka and Leandro Fernandez. Charlize Theron, KiKi Layne, Marwan Kenzari, Luca Marinelli, Harry Melling, Van Veronica Ngo, Matthias Schoenaerts, and Chiwetel Ejiofor star in the small screen adaptation, which is also penned by Rucka, and directed by Gina Prince-Bythewood. The story follow a team of immortal assassins inducting a new member to assist them in their adventures. And of course, when you have that kind of power, people will inevitably want to steal it. I gotta say, the trailer below looks pretty great. I wasn’t sure what to expect, and I do very much like the comic series, so this may be one to really watch for. Take a look below and see if you don’t agree.

THE OLD GUARD hits Netflix on July 10, 2020
