SPACE FORCE new trailer – Steve Carell, Jane Lynch & Lisa Kudrow do Sci-Fi comedy for Netflix

While the new series SPACE FORCE isn’t necessarily meant to be a dramatic representation of the Trump-proposed military movement, it’s safe to say this could be called an “art imitates life” scenario. From THE OFFICE showrunner Greg Daniels, and featuring none other than Steve Carell in the lead, SPACE FORCE premiers on Netlfix at the end of the month, and talks about a government-sanctioned concept created to take control of the area above the skies, and the rube (Carell) put in charge of it. In addition to Carell, the cast includes John Malkovich, Ben Schwartz, Lisa Kudrow, Jimmy O. Yang, Noah Emmerich, Alex Sparrow, Don Lake, Diana Silvers, and Tawny Newsome. A decorated pilot with dreams of running the Air Force, four-star general Mark R. Naird (Steve Carell) is thrown for a loop when he finds himself tapped to lead the newly formed sixth branch of the US Armed Forces: Space Force. Skeptical but dedicated, Mark uproots his family and moves to a remote base in Colorado where he and a colorful team of scientists and “Spacemen” are tasked by the White House with getting American boots on the moon (again) in a hurry and achieving total space dominance.

SPACE FORCE hits Netflix on May 29, 2020
