Incredible cinematic trailer for STAR WARS: THE FORCE UNLEASHED II game, starring our buddy Sam Witwer!

If you’ve ever listened to the Bigfanboy Livecast, you may have heard us talk to our buddy Sam Witwer, who is the principal actor and likeness used in Lucasarts’ THE FORCE UNLEASHED video game.  Aside from that, Sam also had a recurring role as “Crashdown” on the new BATTLESTAR GALACTICA, starred with (another Bigfanboy buddy) Thomas Jane in THE MIST, and most recently played “Doomsday” for a full season of SMALLVILLE.  But more importantly, we’re about to see more of Witwer in THE FORCE UNLEASHED II, and from the looks of it this may just be the coolest video game ever made.  The first game made a big impression on both hardcore gamers and STAR WARS fans.  Many even suggested that Sam’s character (Galen Marek, or Starkiller) would be perfect for a new film or TV series.  Are you listening Lucasfilm?  We can hope, right?  Well now there’s a new cinematic trailer, courtesy of Game Trailers, and it’s just about the coolest STAR WARS anything you’re ever likely to see.  Check it out below, and tell us your thoughts in the comments section below.  Knowing there’s a live action STAR WARS series on the way, there better be room in there somewhere for Sam Witwer.  Ya with me!?  Someone get me George Lucas on the horn!

FYI - We last spoke with Sam in December of last year on the 3-Year Anniversary episode of the Bigfanboy Livecast, where he talked (very cryptically) about THE FORCE UNLEASHED II, but did catch us up on everything else he’s been up to.  To listen to that interview, right-click and save the MP3 HERE, or just click to open and stream the file in your media player (Sam comes on about 19 minutes in).
