SCOOB! trailer – a new Scooby-Doo helps the Hanna-Barbera shared cinematic universe begin

The classic Scooby-Doo characters are getting an update for the next generation in SCOOB!, which also seems to be setting up a Hanna-Barbera shared universe by introducing Dick Dastardly, Dynomutt, Blue Falcon and more within the story. This new trailer for SCOOB! shows us quite a bit of what to expect, including how Shaggy and Scooby met, the Mystery Gang at work, some outer space characters, and more. And the voice cast is pretty impressive, featuring Zac Efron, Amanda Seyfried, Gina Rodriguez, Will Forte, Ken Jeong, Tracy Morgan, Jason Isaacs, Kiersey Clemons, and Mark Wahlberg (as Blue Falcon). I gotta say, this looks like a lot of fun, tell us your thoughts in the comments.

“SCOOB!” reveals how lifelong friends Scooby and Shaggy first met and how they joined with young detectives Fred, Velma and Daphne to form the famous Mystery Inc. Now, with hundreds of cases solved and adventures shared, Scooby and the gang face their biggest, most challenging mystery ever: a plot to unleash the ghost dog Cerberus upon the world. As they race to stop this global “dogpocalypse,” the gang discovers that Scooby has a secret legacy and an epic destiny greater than anyone imagined.
