MULAN new trailer/poster – Disney brings the impressive animated film into live action

The latest Disney animated film to get the live action treatment is MULAN, which is also looking to be one of their most serious in tone. In fact, after watching the new trailer below, if you didn’t know this was an adaptation of previous material, you might just assume it’s an impressive Chinese epic production. Liu Yifei plays “Hua Mulan” in the new version, and the impressive supporting cast features Donnie Yen, Jason Scott Lee, Yoson An, Utkarsh Ambudkar, Ron Yuan, Tzi Ma, Rosalind Chao, Cheng Pei-Pei, Nelson Lee, Chum Ehelepola, with Gong Li and Jet Li. The film is directed by Niki Caro, who previously helmed THE ZOOKEEPER’S WIFE. Check out the new trailer below and tell us your thoughts in the comments.
