Kevin Smith’s new movie JAY AND SILENT BOB REBOOT has been released in a rather creative way. There were traditional screenings offered through Fathom Events, but several lucky cities received an opportunity to watch the film with both Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes in attendance, followed by a fun Q&A, and in some cities VIP meet and greet opportunities. The Reboot Roadshow has been a big hit, and is a very creative old school way of releasing a movie. If you didn’t get a chance to attend any of the roadshow stops up until now, not to worry, there are still plenty of opportunities left. Check out the list below to see where you could still buy tickets – we weeded out the cities where shows are sold out, though these tickets are going fast, so if you’re serious make sure to grab yours ASAP. We had a chance to see this at the historic Texas Theatre in Oak Cliff (just South of Dallas, TX), and the crowd was amazing – they’ll have an encore screening of the film (no Roadshow though) on November 15 at 9:15pm, tickets available here. It really is a special experience and an amazing way to see this movie, which is quite funny by the way. I also admire Kevin and Jason for their hard work and dedication on this, it can’t be easy doing over 50 cities this way, multiple shows in each. Grab some friends and see this the way it deserves to be seen.
