BAD BOYS FOR LIFE new trailer – Will Smith & Martin Lawrence are back in action

When Michael Bay’s BAD BOYS came out in 1995 (yes, it was THAT long ago), it became a box office smash hit for Martin Lawrence and Will Smith, helped propel Smith into a series of blockbuster action roles, and Lawrence into a string of big budget comedies. We got one sequel, creatively titled BAD BOYS II, but even most hardcore fans of the characters (myself included) found it to be an overlong fairly forgettable big budget time waster… save for a few cool action sequences, and Michael Bay back behind the camera. Now, 25 years later, both Smith and Lawrence are back to show they’ve still got the magic in BAD BOYS FOR LIFE. This third outing has gone through a few changes since its inception, originally meant to be a Joe Carnahan film (he co-wrote the screenplay), it’s directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, with Jerry Bruckheimer and Will Smith producing. While Michael Bay won’t be back for this one, there are rumors he may return for a potential fourth film, should the third prove to be successful. In addition to Smith and Lawrence, the cast for this new one also includes Vanessa Hudgens, Alexander Ludwig, Charles Melton, Paola Nunez, Kate Del Castillo, Nicky Jam, and the great Joe Pantoliano. Check out the new trailer and tell us your thoughts in the comments.

The Bad Boys Mike Lowrey (Will Smith) and Marcus Burnett (Martin Lawrence) are back together for one last ride in the highly anticipated Bad Boys for Life.
