Who doesn’t love a good old-fashioned murder mystery? The new Rian Johnson movie KNIVES OUT is exactly that, featuring a stellar cast that includes Daniel Craig, Chris Evans, Lakeith Stanfield, Michael Shannon, Ana de Armas, Don Johnson, Jamie Lee Curtis, Toni Collette, Jaeden Martell, Katherine Langford, and Christopher Plummer. I saw this at Fantastic Fest (review coming shortly), and I’ll just saw this… it’s a LOT of fun. Should be interesting to see how this plays, as some folks are still harboring some pretty strong negative feelings over Johnson’s work on STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI, though his previous films BRICK and LOOPER are quite good. Check out the new trailer below and tell us your thoughts in the comments. You can also look for advance screening information on the film’s official website, as they are doing early showings at various locations across the United States.

When renowned crime novelist Harlan Thrombey (Christopher Plummer) is found dead at his estate just after his 85th birthday, the inquisitive and debonair Detective Benoit Blanc (Daniel Craig) is mysteriously enlisted to investigate. From Harlan’s dysfunctional family to his devoted staff, Blanc sifts through a web of red herrings and self-serving lies to uncover the truth behind Harlan’s untimely death.

KNIVES OUT opens November 27, 2019
