THE THEORY OF EVERYTHING co-stars Eddie Redmayne and Felicity Jones are back together in THE AERONAUTS, a high-flying hot air balloon adventure on Amazon Prime (but it will also get a theatrical run). If you’re fascinated by weather experiments… okay, that’s not selling it. If you’re into the exciting world of ballooning… hmmm, that’s not either. You know what, just check out the trailer, it’s cooler than it sounds. The film is directed by Tom Harper (WILD ROSE) from a screenplay by Jack Thorne (WONDER). Set in 1862 and inspired by true events, The Aeronauts follows wealthy young widow Amelia Wren (Jones) and headstrong scientist James Glaisher (Redmayne), as they mount a balloon expedition to fly higher than anyone in history. This is a journey to the very edge of existence, where the air is thin and the chances of survival are slim. As their perilous ascent reveals their true selves, this unlikely pair discover things about each other – and themselves – that helps each of them find their place in the world they have left behind.

Born and raised in Dallas, Mark has been a movie critic since 1994, with reviews featured in print, radio and National TV.
