THE DARK CRYSTAL: AGE OF RESISTANCE trailer – the Jim Henson concept lives on at Netflix

When Jim Henson’s THE DARK CRYSTAL hit theaters in 1982, some audiences weren’t sure how to take it. The idea of mythical Muppet characters with a serious slant met with mixed results, but the decades that followed the film developed a cult favorite status. Now Netflix is bringing it back with THE DARK CRYSTAL: AGE OF RESISTANCE, which features an amazing voice cast that includes Taron Egerton, Anya Taylor-Joy, Nathalie Emmanuel, Mark Hamill, Keegan-Michael Key, Simon Pegg, Donna Kimball, Alicia Vikander, Andy Samberg, Helena Bonham Carter, Eddie Izzard, Lena Headey, Awkwafina, and Sigourney Weaver. Louis Leterrier (CLASH OF THE TITANS) is directing, and what we’ve seen so far looks pretty incredible. Check out the newest trailer and tell us your thoughts in the comments.
