Based on the fan-favorite novel by Eoin Colfer, the story follows a 12-year-old boy genius named Artemis Fowl as he searches for his missing father in an advanced world of fairies. Artemis is played by fresh face Ferdia Shaw, and the cast includes Judi Dench, Josh Gad, Nonso Anozie, Lara McDonnell, and Hong Chau. The first trailer doesn’t really tell you much, just sets the stage for what’s to come.
