ALPHA AND OMEGA trailer – Lionsgate does animation

.

Everyone seems to be jumping on the animated film bandwagon, which I guess isn’t a bad thing, as lately most of the animated films out there have been pretty solid.  Now Lionsgate is getting into it as well, and their first effort is the wolf story ALPHA AND OMEGA, which features the voices of Hayden Panettiere, Justin Long, Dennis Hopper, Christina Ricci, Danny Glover, Christine Lakin, Chris Carmack, and Vicki Lewis, to name but a few.  Directed by Anthony Bell (THE BOONDOCKS) and Ben Gluck (BROTHER BEAR 2), with a screenplay by Chris Denk, the story follows two mismatched young wolves thrown together by circumstance.  This immediately gave me a classic Disney THE FOX AND THE HOUND vibe, though certainly more in keeping with current animated film sensibilities.  Check out the trailer and see what you think!
