THE HAPPYTIME MURDERS “For Your Consideration” trailer – these puppets be crazy

You’re not ready for this. Watch the new gloriously inappropriate (and NSFW) red band trailer for STXfilms’ THE HAPPYTIME MURDERS, starring Melissa McCarthy, Maya Rudolph, Joel McHale, and Elizabeth Banks. The filthy comedy, directed by Brian Henson, opens in theaters nationwide on August 24, and puts some big name stars in the room with Muppet-like puppets, only in the most raunchy way possible. Let us know your thoughts in the comments.

THE HAPPYTIME MURDERS is set in the underbelly of Los Angeles where puppets and humans coexist. Two clashing detectives, one human and one puppet, are forced to work together to try and solve who is brutally murdering the former cast of “The Happytime Gang,” a beloved classic puppet show.
