MILE 22 final trailer – Mark Wahlberg re-teams with Peter Berg for some intense action

Mark Wahlberg and director Peter Berg seem like an unstoppable duo, with LONE SURVIVOR, DEEPWATER HORIZON and PATRIOTS DAY already under their collective belts. Their newest offering is the action thriller MILE 22, which also stars Lauren Cohan, John Malkovich, Ronda Rousey and Iko Uwais. The final trailer can be seen below. We’ve seen this type of story before, a tactical team trying to get an informant out and then getting attacked, but man does this look effective. If you’ve seen THE RAID films, you may recognize Iko Uwais, who is definitely using his talents here. Tell us your thoughts on the film in the comments.

In a visceral modern thriller from the director of Lone Survivor, Mark Wahlberg stars as James Silva, an operative of the CIA’s most highly-prized and least-understood unit. Aided by a top-secret tactical command team, Silva must retrieve and transport an asset who holds life-threatening information to Mile 22 for extraction before the enemy closes in.

MILE 22 opens August 17, 2018
