HOTEL ARTEMIS red band trailer – Jodie Foster takes care of injured criminals in the future

Yes, we know, there’s plenty of JOHN WICK comparisons, don’t even bother to glance at the YouTube comments on this one. Granted, those films definitely established the idea of a hotel for assassins, one with strict rules on how to behave while staying there. There’s no connection to that franchise in HOTEL ARTEMIS though, especially since this movie is set in the future. But the big selling point here is the cast, which is pretty much awesome. Jodie Foster, Sterling K. Brown, Brian Tyree Henry, Jeff Goldblum, Sofia Boutella, Jenny Slate, Zachary Quinto, Charlie Day, and Dave Bautista make up the impressive ensemble. This is also the directorial debut of screenwriter Drew Pearce (IRON MAN 3), who also wrote the film, which looks like a 1990s Tony Scott-esque fever dream. I can’t wait. Check out the new red band trailer and tell us your thoughts in the comments.

In HOTEL ARTEMIS, set in riot-torn, near-future Los Angeles, Jodie Foster plays The Nurse, who runs a secret, members-only emergency room for criminals. Surrounded by an all-star cast that includes Sterling K. Brown, Sofia Boutella, Jeff Goldblum, Bryan Tyree Henry, Jenny Slate, Zachary Quinto, Charlie Day, and Dave Bautista, HOTEL ARTEMIS is a stylish, high-octane action-thriller written and directed by Drew Pearce (writer of IRON MAN 3, MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE – ROGUE NATION, SHERLOCK HOLMES 3).

HOTEL ARTEMIS opens June 8, 2018
