24th Annual SAG Awards – full list of nominees & winners, and what it may mean at the Oscars

If you missed the 24th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards last night, not to worry, we’ve got the full list of nominees and winners below. Hosted by Kristen Bell, the ceremony seemed to move pretty fast, but the results were almost nose-to-nose in line with the Golden Globe wins, with a few notable exceptions. Like the Globes, the SAG Award cover both film and television. THREE BILLBOARDS OUTSIDE EBBING, MISSOURI was a big winner in the film category taking home Best Actress, Best Supporting Actor, and Best Cast (kind of the SAG equivalent of Best Picture). Gary Oldman won Best Actor for DARKEST HOUR, and Morgan Freeman took home the SAG Life Achievement Award handed to him by previous recipient Rita Moreno. In the TV category… VEEP, BIG LITTLE LIES and THIS IS US all took home multiple awards. It’s safe to say THREE BILLBOARDS OUTSIDE EBBING, MISSOURI is a film to bet on come Oscar time, and Gary Oldman is starting to look like a strong contender for the Best Actor Academy Award. Check out the list of nominees and winner notations below and tell us your thoughts in the comments.
