Director Darren Aronofsky knows how to make some pretty crazy and effed up movies, like REQUIEM FOR A DREAM and BLACK SWAN, but regardless of how you feel about his work, there’s a reason actors want to work with the man. You’ll notice his films frequently feature some of Hollywood’s most influential talent, and occasionally he manages to get unusual performances out of actors and actresses you’d never expect in those types of roles. His newest effort is MOTHER! which stars Jennifer Lawrence and Javier Bardem as a couple living in an old house, but things get weird when some strangers come to stay with them… those folks being played by Ed Harris and Michelle Pfieffer. The supporting cast also includes Domnhall Gleeson and (now this is interesting) Kristen Wiig. Get ready for one of the weirdest and most intriguing trailers of the year.

A couple’s relationship is tested when uninvited guests arrive at their home, disrupting their tranquil existence.

MOTHER opens September 15, 2017
