We already saw Chadwick Boseman play T’Challa / Black Panther in CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR, and he was easily one of the coolest things about that film. But to heck with that, tonight we get our first official look at the BLACK PANTHER movie with a snazzy new poster and teaser trailer. Ryan Coogler (CREED) is the director on this one, and the cast includes Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Martin Freeman, Daniel Kaluuya, Angela Bassett, Forest Whitaker, Andy Serkis, Florence Kasumba, John Kani, Winston Duke, Sterling K. Brown, Letitia Wright, and Phylicia Rashad. I am SO excited for this, and if the teaser trailer is any indication of what we’re in for, this is going to be one phenomenal film. Tell us your thoughts in the comments.

After the events of Captain America: Civil War, King T’Challa returns home to the reclusive, technologically advanced African nation of Wakanda to serve as his country’s new leader. However, T’Challa soon finds that he is challenged for the throne from factions within his own country. When two foes conspire to destroy Wakanda, the hero known as Black Panther must team up with C.I.A. agent Everett K. Ross and members of the Dora Milaje, Wakanadan special forces, to prevent Wakanda from being dragged into a world war.
