After the overwhelming success of 21 JUMP STREET making the jump from small screen to the big screen with the comedic theatrical reboot, it’s very likely we’re going to see a lot of fan favorite TV shows getting similar treatment. Up next is BAYWATCH, and it’s headlined by Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron, playing an unlikely lifeguard duo hoping to protect the beaches. Their team also consists of Alexandra Daddario, Kelly Rohrbach, Jon Bass, and Ilfenesh Hadera. Priyanka Chopra and Ron Huebel also star, and David Hasselhoff and Pamela Anderson will have cameos. Seth Gordon (HORRIBLE BOSSES) directs the comedy due out next month. The new International trailer (which drops a few F-bombs) gives us a much better look at Chopra as the villain of the story. I’m still not sure what Hollywood’s obsession is with her just yet (yeah, I’ve watched Quantico, but she’s yet to “wow” me), but Paramount seemed to think it was worth cutting a new trailer just to spotlight her in the film. Take a look at the new preview and tell us your thoughts in the comments.

“BAYWATCH” follows devoted lifeguard Mitch Buchannon (Johnson) as he butts heads with a brash new recruit (Efron). Together, they uncover a local criminal plot that threatens the future of the Bay.

BAYWATCH opens May 25, 2017
