LOST IN LONDON trailer – Woody Harrelson’s self-parody movie shot LIVE looks hilarious

The concept behind Woody Harrelson’s movie LOST IN LONDON is rather fascinating. The former Cheers star wrote and directed the production, which he also stars in and plays himself… or rather a comedic version of himself. But what’s really interesting about the project is that it was filmed and shown LIVE to movie theaters on January 19 this year. It’s based on a real life event Harrelson dealt with in the early 90s (1992 to be exact). The story goes that Woody’s wife got the impression he cheated on her, which resulted in a rather embarrassing and very public fight. In the trailer below, you see some hilarious almost Curb Your Enthusiasm-esque moments, such as Harrelson telling a club bouncer who doesn’t recognize him some of his more notable films like INDECENT PROPOSAL and WHITE MEN CAN’T JUMP, and even desperately singing the Cheers theme song. Then there’s the inclusion of Owen Wilson, who also gets in a fight with Woody. Willie Nelson is in there too. Shot in London using one long single take, this actually looks quite entertaining, and you have to admire Harrelson for trying something new and different in a time where Hollywood just keeps cranking out sequels and reboots. Check out the trailer below and tell us your thoughts in the comments. There’s no U.S. release date yet, but we imagine it’s coming, currently the film is planned to have a U.K. tour soon.
