If you’re like me, anxiously waiting for the next Edgar Wright-directed masterpiece, then today is a good day. Check out the first trailer for his latest film, BABY DRIVER, which is having its premiere at this year’s South By Southwest Film Festival (which I’m sadly missing). The cast includes Ansel Elgort, Kevin Spacey, Lily James, Jon Bernthal, Eiza González, with Jon Hamm and Jamie Foxx. You have to love the clever plot device to incorporate music into the narrative. Wright has always excelled when it comes to music in his films, so this should undoubtedly have a phenomenal soundtrack. Honestly, this is one of the more fun trailers we’ve seen lately, so it’s definitely hitting our must-see list for the year. Check it out for yourself and tell us your thoughts in the comments.

A talented, young getaway driver (Ansel Elgort) relies on the beat of his personal soundtrack to be the best in the game. When he meets the girl of his dreams (Lily James), Baby sees a chance to ditch his criminal life and make a clean getaway. But after being coerced into working for a crime boss (Kevin Spacey), he must face the music when a doomed heist threatens his life, love and freedom.

BABY DRIVER opens August 11, 2017
