THE BELKO EXPERIMENT trailer #3 – James Gunn pens an office building horror thriller

Another new trailer for the same movie in the same week? Why not. After the overwhelming success of GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY, James Gunn was propelled from being a relatively low budget genre director into A-list status. This is a guy who started his career working for Troma (THE TOXIC AVENGER) and is now making movies with budgets in the hundreds of millions of dollars… that’s pretty impressive. He’s been working on the sequel for GUARDIANS, but found time to get another film made that he wrote. THE BELKO EXPERIMENT is scripted and produced by Gunn, and directed by Greg McLean (WOLF CREEK), and involves an office building filled with cubicle workers who are suddenly thrown into a HUNGER GAMES-esque scenario. Today we get a new look at the film in the form of another fast-moving new trailer. The movie stars Tony Goldwyn, John Gallagher Jr., Michael Rooker, Adria Arjona, John C. McGinley, Mikaela Hoover, Sean Gunn, Abraham Benrubi, and David Dastmalchian. Take a look at the third trailer below and tell us your thoughts in the comments.

The Belko Experiment has lots of fun getting rid of all these employees. Some die quickly, and some die slowly; some die through more conventional means and others in more creative ways. By the end, both the living and the dead are caked in blood. Through it all, the film maintains a dark sense of humor — it’s not laugh-out-loud hilarious, but it does give you permission to howl with glee at all the carnage. The Belko Experiment isn’t much more than a good time at the theater, but it isn’t really trying to be and doesn’t really have to be.

THE BELKO EXPERIMENT opens March 17, 2017
